We’re Rashid Benoy and Alice Weston, the Regenerative Horticulture tutors.

Alice Weston

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to turn my passion for gardening into a successful career inHorticulture.  My work has included:  managing a team of landscapers and creating new gardens for high-end customers, Head Gardener on a large private estate, and self-employed maintenance gardener working for a number of regular clients.

I have found that the most rewarding points in my career have been providing training and support for those less experienced than myself.  Horticulture is such an incredibly diverse and interesting topic, there is always something new and exciting to learn, and it’s a wonderful feeling to facilitate and foster that sense of excitement in others.  I passionately believe in the importance of adopting a regenerative approach to cultivation and that this approach should be the foundation of the next generation of gardeners. It is vitally important for our health and well-being, and for the future of the planet, that we all adopt practices that are beneficial to our natural environment.

I am extremely excited to be able to work with BMC to provide budding horticulturalists with the skills they need to begin a journey into a wonderfully diverse and rewarding discipline.
