This new film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation – and the credible, positive responses available – in a clear and accessible account.
The People’s Emergency Briefing brings together people in local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond – together with their MP.

About the facilitators
Kate Strong is an international speaker, coach, author and regenerative change-maker helping people create meaningful, sustainable transformation in their lives and communities. Originally trained as an engineer, her path has taken her from elite endurance sport and world-record cycling achievements to grassroots environmental action, behaviour change coaching, and regenerative living. After cycling 3,000 miles around Britain on a handmade bamboo bike visiting community projects, Kate now blends performance coaching, strategic intuition, and a deep connection to the natural world to help people lead with greater clarity, courage, and purpose.
Ben Rawlence is the Black Mountains College co-founder and CEO. Ben is an award-winning writer, activist, and former speech writer to Sir Menzies Campbell and Charles Kennedy. B. He was a researcher for Human Rights Watch’s Africa division, worked for the Social Science Research Council in the USA, the Liberal Democrats in the UK and the Civic United Front in Tanzania.
