Farmers’ Supper

Come and share a meal of delicious home-made food and contribute to a conversation about farming and the health of our soils.

The Last Supper Theatre Project – We are doing research for a new outdoor theatre show. We are gathering stories about what it is like to be a farmer at this time. This event is the first of a series of story-collection suppers, which will inform a theatre show around the past, present and future of farming.

Black Mountains College – We aim to bring together present and future farmers (our students) to learn from each other how to produce healthy food that is good for us and the environment. We would also like to hear what subjects/courses local farmers would like to see being taught at BMC.

The food will be provided by chef Meg Butkevicius. The meal will be hosted by Artist, facilitator and community organiser Owen Griffiths

When: 6-8pm, Friday 19th April

Where: Talgarth Town Hall, The Square, Talgarth, Brecon LD3 0AF

Who will be there? We will be inviting around 10 local farmers and their +1; 10 student future farmers from Black Mountains College; as well as organising artists.

This event is free and by invitation. We will have a limited number of extra places available. If you are a farmer and would like to join this event then please email natalia@blackmountainscollege.uk.
