The Black Mountains College Campus

ARWAIN works with Powys County Council to get local people, businesses and communities involved in delivering sustainable, innovative solutions to address some of the economic, social and environmental challenges facing Powys.

ARWAIN funded our options appraisal project, which we ran to establish the optimum site for the Black Mountains College campus.  We reached over 2000 people in 10 public events and 3 discovery days in the region to get a broad range of input and ideas.  From this, we have been able to get a better understanding of the relative merits of different kinds of sites.  Huge thanks to everyone who was involved.

We are just adding the final touches to the report, and will share the next steps for BMC’s development soon….
