Join our part-time, FREE, 10-week course that will give you the skills to begin growing with and for nature. We’ll explore how to grow healthy food that does not cost the earth.

  • How to work safely outside with the soil and plants
  • Planning and planting
  • Understanding soil health
  • Raised beds and planting in containers
  • Companion planting
  • Introduction to composting 
  • Pests and diseases
  • Harvesting
  • Effective pruning of smaller plants

Why study Regenerative Horticulture?

On successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Begin growing food in a variety of settings
  • Feel more confident about taking on an allotment
  • Progress onto our full time Level 2 in Regenerative Horticulture or another full time course.

Level: Inclusive, friendly and accessible, to encourage learners to engage and potentially progress.

Learners who complete will get a BMC Certificate of Completion and a Skills Passport will be created and each skill successfully achieved will be sign off by tutor.

Please note: Learners cannot be on any other state-funded education or training programme.
