Higher Education Student Finance

If you are pursuing our BA (Hons) Sustainable Futures: Arts, Ecology, and Systems Change, there are several avenues of financial support available:

student loans (uk students)

Most UK students are eligible for government-backed student loans, which cover both tuition fees and living costs. These loans are provided through Student Finance and typically do not require repayment until you’re earning above a certain income threshold. The amount you receive depends on your household income.

Maintenance Loan: Helps with living expenses, such as accommodation, food, and travel. The amount you can borrow depends on your household income and whether you’re living away from home.

Tuition Fee Loan: Covers the full cost of your course fees, which is paid directly to the college.

Tuition fees in Wales for all undergraduate degrees will be capped at £9,250 per year as of September 2025.

Please note that you will not be eligible for a second student loan to study with us if you have already claimed student finance to fund another degree.

Student loans are available through the following portals:

If you have additional needs or are supporting or caring for others, further support may be available. Have a look at the student finance web pages for your home country or please contact us to discuss.
