Accommodation

Where you live is just as important as how you live, so we currently have several options to help make your immersive learning experience ‘all-in’. Moving away from home is a big part of the student experience so we’ve put together some information to help explain your accommodation choices.

Our dedicated student journey team are on hand to assist students with choosing the best option for them. BMCs accommodation is offered through a private agreement between us and the student, whereas other external options (including local hosts) are made between the student and homeowner, and not officially linked to BMC. We will provide contact details of the hosts, for you to get in touch with.

Please note that we only offer accommodation at our Talgarth campus.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer student accommodation to anyone under the age of 18 years old.

Types and Prices

Our own private student accommodation options start from £120 per week (plus bills), whereas local host options can range from £100 per week upwards (including bills). Prices vary according to room/accommodation size, and location.

Accommodation contracts run for 44-weeks minimum, from mid-September to mid-July, with the option to pay to extend this weekly over summer for Degree students.

BMC accommodations require £150 to secure your choice, and 4-weeks rent as deposit (minus the £150 security deposit) upon signing your contract. You will be refunded the entire amount at the end of your tenancy.

Short-term and per-night stays may be available with some local hosts, as well as local campsites where you can park a campervan or pitch a tent – there should be something for everyone.
