What to Expect?
Gain an insight into what BMC can offer you, as well as giving you the opportunity to get involved in our interactive activities and mini workshops!
- Find out more about all of our courses
- Meet and greet some of our fabulous, knowledgeable staff
- Take a tour around the town and our learning sites
- Take part in a short woodworking workshop with Forestry Tutor, Tom. Watch some demos, and have a go yourself at using some tools and shaping some wood!
- Work with our Public Education Officer, Magda, on another mini workshop about climate change. We’ll be doing a drop-in collaging activity to create a collective piece of artwork that shows what a positive future could look like. As we create, we’ll think and talk about the skills we need to build that future, and how the courses can help!

Scheduled Sessions:
11am – Welcome and refreshments at The Old Library
11.30am – Gain short Introductions to our courses in Regenerative Horticulture, Forestry and Arboriculture, Nature Restoration, Land-Based Studies (NEW!), and Change in Practice
11.45am – Take a short walk to our Forestry site and join our Course Taster Workshops
