Lower Genffordd

About the accommodation

A newly refurbished 4-bedroom 16th Century Farmhouse – called Lower Genfford – reached by a short metalled track off a country lane. With a modern interior, fully-furnished, a wood burner, and parking available. This property is perfect for anyone who might enjoy countryside living, with its own garden next to a traditional orchard and your own ancient woodland with stream. The house is centrally heated with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators (and heated towel rails in the 2 bathrooms) upstairs.

There are 4 double bedrooms with various views over the orchard and poultry run, the pastures and the woodland. You will be sharing the property with 3 other students.

Note: this is a 16th Century building, and though it was fully refurbished in 2020, it still has most of its original features, including 2 very low doorways and quite a steep stone staircase.

What is the cost?

The cost for this property is £650 per month, the price includes all bills (including wi-fi).

What do i need to bring?

We will require £150 to secure your choice, and £150 deposit upon signing your contract. You will be refunded the entire amount at the end of your tenancy.

Where to find it

The property is within walking distance to our Troed yr Harn farm campus across fields, and is 1.5 miles from Talgarth centre.

You can walk to Talgarth along the road in around 30 minutes, but the remote location of the property would suit someone with either a bicycle or vehicle better.
