Climate change is happening, and it’s crucial that we educate and engage our youth in the debate.

Following our interactive sessions demonstrating different creative strategies to use to support young people in discussion about climate change without the panic, we have collated:

  • Useful links related to things discussed in the workshop
  • Resources and tools for teachers to use
  • A space to share good practice and ideas using the moderated hashtag #BMCTEACHCREATIVE

The framework in Wales

Wales’ national curriculum has been transformed, and is gradually being introduced.  It aims to support its learners to become:

  • ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives
  • enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work
  • ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
  • healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.

The Future Generations Act (Wales) 2015 is unique to Wales, and requires public bodies in Wales to think about the long-term impact of their decisions, to work better with people, communities and each other, and to prevent persistent problems such as poverty, health inequalities and climate change.

Personal inspiration for creative habits!
