Primrose Organic Farm
Primrose Farm is a certified Organic farm in the Brecon Beacons with an abundant market.
It is located in the village of Velindre, a small community, with a local pub and village hall just outside of Three Cocks. Velindre is around 3 miles (7-8 mins drive) from Talgarth, 15 mins from our farm campus and just over 20 mins from Brecon. Velindre is a small community, with a local pub and village hall. Three Cocks is just down the road, which is the location of the beautiful Gwernyfed Walled Garden, Old Railway Line Garden Centre, and more pubs/restaurants, hairdressers, a gym, and Black Mountains Activity Centre. You will need your own transport for this option.
The accommodation is a large bedroom within a shared house on Primrose Farm. The house is shared by three other lodgers, and the owner. There is a large, shared kitchen-diner, and shared bathrooms, with an outdoor garden space. The current lodgers in this accommodation are in their late 20’s, early 30’s. Primrose Farm is ideal for anyone looking to be a part of a community, there are others living on the site in other accommodation nearby and there is a very friendly atmosphere.
The price of the room is £300 per month, plus 5 hours volunteer work helping out in the market garden per week. This is ideal for a horticulturist! This includes all bills and Wi-fi.
