Join us for a half-day session where you can learn the essential skills for starting and maintaining food crops. Grow food plants sustainably for yourself, your family and your community!
This course is for families who would like to learn how to grow food plants together. Have fun at our teaching space, Gwernyfed Walled Garden. You’ll have a tour of the garden and get to know how and why we grow in a regenerative way. Then there’ll be making, sowing, and learning how to care for seedlings.
You will learn how to:
- Make eco-friendly seed pots
- Sow and learn about unusual salad seeds
- Plant perennial vegetables
- Learn about unusual edible perennials and how they can help us cope with climate change
- Discover regenerative techniques to help your garden bloom
